Aisha Jamila Hinds is a famous American actor. Her fame is due to her role in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her versatility by performing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Her role in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to draw her notice. Her performance in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the notice of the general public. Hind also received high praises for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will be renewed for another season. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release in the middle of 2019.
